J. N. Darby Translation

18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealedb to us.

JND Translation Notes

b
Or "the glory about to be revealed." but the sense is most nearly given in the text. See Gal. 3.23 and 1 Cor. 3.22. The emphasis is on "coming," in contrast with "this present time."

W. Kelly Translation

+
18
For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time [are] not worthy of comparison with the glory about to be revealed in regard to usa.

WK Translation Notes

a
The phraseology seems to me choice and precise. The glory is not "in us" (en hēmin), which makes or tends to make the glory concentrated and terminated in us. "To us" (eis hēmas) leaves room for us to be reached by the glory but takes it in universally.
