 Verses 9 and 10 give the substance of His former messages to His people; verses 11 and 12 point out the way in which His word had been refused; and verses 13 and 14 show that the withering judgments which had fallen upon Israel and the land were the consequence of their hardened hearts and sinful rebellion.
