GEN 48:15-16¹⁵And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day, ¹⁶The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. (Genesis 48:15‑16)

God which fed me all my life long unto this day . . . bless the lads.

Jacob was at the end of his life and, as he recalled his long, eventful life, he remembered that, in spite of some hard times, God had cared for him all his days. He prays that God would bless Joseph’s two boys just as he had been blessed. Think today of the wonderful ways in which the Lord has cared for you and provided for you. He cares about our every need and wants to bless us in our lives. He loves to hear our thanks too. Let’s thank Him today for everything that He has done for us.
