DEU 6:6-9⁶And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: ⁷And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. ⁸And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. ⁹And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. (Deuteronomy 6:6‑9)

And these words . . . shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them . . . talk of them . . . bind them . . . and . . . write them.

When we are totally occupied with some-thing - whether it’s sports, work or a hobby -we don’t find it too hard to talk about it as much as possible. If we get the Scriptures in our hearts and are living in the good of them - in other words, enjoying them for ourselves -then it is easy to talk of them, to show them by our lives, and to write about them. God wants us to be occupied with Him and His Word.
