Umm, let's open it there.
Regarding our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, we thank you now for this.
Opportunity we've had in this to sing these hymns together and thank you for this beautiful day we have had today.
We, uh, asked for the help. Now if we open Thy word, speak to each one of us through Thy word, and uh, we pray this all and ask for Thy help in Thy name, Amen.
Start with a verse in Second Timothy chapter 3.
You know, at the beginning of this week.
We had an address of Brother Mark stood up and he talked about.
The desire that we have, that we as parents have for each one of your kids to be successful.
And then he clarified that he was speaking about spiritual success.
He wants each one of you to be spiritually successful.
And yes, well, we want that. There is an enemy that does not want that.
And that wants to do everything you can to make that not happen.
You know in Second Corinthians we read that we are not ignorant of his devices. We know the tricks he uses. As I mentioned in the reading, I think it was this morning.
He uses the same tricks over and over.
And we know what tricks he's going to use. We know what tricks he's used before.
So in Second Timothy chapter 3.
And verse 8.
Now as Janet, as Janice and Jan breathe withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth.
Janice and Jambreeze were the the Egyptian magicians.
When Moses and Aaron came and had the message from God, let my people go, they resisted him.
And they had some very real power if you read the story Satanic Power, I believe.
But if you think about it, if these powerful men or these men without use this power where resisting Moses?
Would they?
With the cold on fire on him.
When they try to kill him.
You know what they did?
They copied him. They imitated the signs that Moses and Aaron did.
When the cast down the rod and it became a serpent.
They cast down their rods and they became serpents.
When they turned the water to blood, so did the magicians.
They imitated the work of God.
And you know this is one of the.
One of the tactics that Satan uses, he used back then, he uses today.
Egypt. I'm sure you've all heard this, Egypt.
Is a very clear type of the world.
They had a system set up to be.
To irrigate their fields, to be independent of the reign from heaven, they had no need. They built a system so they had no need of need of God.
And part of what this world system does is it imitates the things of God.
It takes them.
Copies them often, removed all reference to God from it, and presents that as just as good.
Another verse in First Kings.
First Things, Chapter 12.
So the story of Jeroboam.
The children of Israel, the 10 tribes that just rebelled against Reyborg, they separated.
And Jeroboam was concerned that the people were going to go back to Jerusalem.
Because that's what the the law told them to do. They would go back and offer sacrifices in Jerusalem. Chapter 12, verse 32. And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the 15th day of the month, like like unto the feast that is in Judah. And he offered upon the altar, so did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made, and he placed in vessel of priests of the high places which he had made.
So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel.
The 15th day of the 8th month, even in the month which he had devised in his of his own heart, and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel, and he offered upon the altar in virgin sense.
00:05:13
He set up these golden calves, he set up these altars, he set up.
Umm, his own feasts, just like the feasts of the Lord, the feasts of Jehovah.
But he made them up himself.
And you know.
Often these attacks these imitations that are actually attacked.
Have a religious.
Side to that, let's take the system that God has set up.
I must make one. Just let's set up our own system just like it.
We'll change a couple of things. We'll make it better.
Better than what God set up.
We'll change a couple things. It's just as good.
And if we look around us.
That the world at Christendom today, we see this everywhere.
Another verse.
In Ezra.
The Book of Ezra, chapter 4.
Here the children of Israel.
Where a small remnant of the Children of Israel had come back and they were rebuilding the temple.
In Jerusalem.
Later in Nehemiah, they rebuilt the city and the wall around it.
But others that lived in that area, they did not like this.
They were adversaries for the calls here and as a four verse one and when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin.
Heard that the children of the captivity builded the temple unto the Lord God of Israel.
Then they came to the rubber bowl and to the chief of the Fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you, for we seek your God as ye do, just like you.
