"LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED: ye believe in God, believe also in Me" (John 14:11Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. (John 14:1)).
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:2727Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)).
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:2828And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)).
This motto is hung on the wall near my bed,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
It always brings comfort and peace when it's read,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
Whatever the problem that weighs on one's mind,
There's always such comfort in God's Word, we find,
And these are the words Jesus uttered so kind,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
When waking, I glance at that text on the wall,
"Let not your heart be troubled,"
Reminding me Jesus is Lord over all,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
He knows every problem, He knows every care,
Our burdens He's promised to willingly bear,
He's ready to help, anytime, anywhere,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
How often I look at that text on the wall,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
Assuring me Jesus will hear when we call,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
The One who redeemed me on Calvary's tree,
For my sins paid the ransom, and now I am free,
That One from the glory still says unto me,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
Dear Christian, when trial or testing arise,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
The Savior is watching His own from the skies,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
The trial will never His mercies exceed,
His grace is sufficient, whatever the need,
Our High Priest in glory doth e'er intercede,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
We know He is working all things for our good,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
And even when by us, they're not understood,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
Just look unto Jesus, and trust in the Lord,
There never hath failed His good promise or Word,
Remember, for Him, there is nothing too hard,
"Let not your heart be troubled."
"They cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses" (Psalm 107:66Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. (Psalm 107:6)).
"Call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me" (Psalm 50:1515And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. (Psalm 50:15)).
