The Lord will deliver, whatever the trial,
Deliver from troubles, afflictions, and fears;
He promises ever to be with His people,
His Presence encourages, comforts, and cheers.
He knows every trial, He knows every trouble,
He wants us to count on Him, on Him to call;
For "I will be with him in trouble" He offers,
Cast on Him your burdens, He beareth them all.
He wants us to dwell in the light of His presence,
He wants us to live in the joy of His love;
He wants us to know He is e'er interceding,
And living for us in the glory above.
Then look unto Him, who is willing and able
To ever deliver, and banish all fear;
In fears, and afflictions, and all of our troubles,
We have His assurance, He ever is near.
He promises ever to hear and deliver,
He promises all things will work for our good;
Then may we in faith cast on Him every burden,
And rest in His wisdom and love, as we should.
Oh! bless Him and praise Him, whatever the pathway,
"I will bless the Lord at all times," David said;
For He orders all, and His judgments are perfect,
So trust in His love, without doubting and dread.
Then praise Him forever, His ways are all perfect,
And wait on His wisdom to answer your call:
He times everything with the utmost precision,
This One, who notes even the small sparrow's fall.
''Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to COMFORT THEM WHICH ARE IN ANY TROUBLE, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are COMFORTED OF GOD" (2 Corinthians 1:3-43Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
