Be ye holy in all manner of conversation.
The word “conversation” means the same as “life-style.” The Apostle is telling us to be holy in everything we do just as God is holy. This isn’t the way of the world, whose code of life is to do anything that you want to. We are not free to do anything just because we want to or like to. We belong to the Lord. He’s our Savior and Lord. He lived a spotless, holy life. We should too.
