but.
 He who is forgiven, who rejoices in the knowledge of sins covered, is now responsible to act and walk ever in the fear of God. He who grows careless and prayerless, who neglects the word of God, or hardens his heart against discipline, persisting in taking his own way, will fall into grievous trouble and sorrow; for “whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth.” (Proverbs Twenty-Eight by H.A. Ironside)
