37If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not;
38but if I do, even if ye believe not me, believe the works, that ye may perceive and know that the Father [is] in me, and I in the Father.
39They sought therefore again to seize him, and he departed out of their hand.
40And he went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was at first baptizing, and abode there.
41And many came unto him and said, John did no sign, but all things whatsoever John said about him were true.
