 Here it is simply power, and men are told in certain cases to be silent, when the power was there; it was the Holy Spirit working as power. In Ephesians 4 it is Christ’s care as Head of the body. No gifts which are signs of power to others are mentioned; only what founds the assembly, edifies the saints, and builds the assembly up. (1 Corinthians 12 by J.N. Darby)
