A Message From God

GEN 18:10¹⁰And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. (Genesis 18:10)

The “men” came with two messages. The first one was good, exciting news. Abraham had longed for a son for years and years. Now his prayer was going to be answered. He (age 100) and Sarah (age 90) were going to have a son. Impossible? Not with God. God had promised. He had tested Abraham’s faith, and now that faith was going to be rewarded. This is an example for us that God does not always answer our prayers right away. Abraham had to wait years before his request was granted. Be patient in your prayer life.
