Give to him that asketh thee.
Just a simple act, done because you were asked to help someone who needed it. This is Christianity in a very practical sense. The Christian should give, without grudging, to those who are in need. We often assume that this means money. But we can give time, a listening ear, a helping hand, a word of encouragement. These don’t cost us anything except a piece of our life. We need to give ourselves in the Lord’s service to a very needy world.
