 We find the Apostle Paul alluding to this scripture in Acts 13:41, for he spoke of prophets— in the plural— and so he did not only have Habakkuk 1:5 in his mind. If men close their eyes against the light and turn things upside down, they have to reap the fruit of their ways. How much of today’s religion is just a matter of drawing near to God with the mouth while the heart is far away from Him? (Isaiah 29 by F.B. Hole)
