Ask, and it shall be given you.
Do you know why sometimes we don’t ask the Lord for things? Because we don’t have the faith that He will answer us. Do you know why, when we do ask for things, we don’t get them? The Apostle James says that it’s because we ask for things for our own pleasure and not for God’s glory. Let’s be really considerate of the Lord when we ask for things. Yes, let’s ask - He wants us to. But be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit in your life so that you ask according to God’s will.
