Know.
to whom.
whether of sin.
Sin leads to death; obedience to practical righteousness. We are upon the wider principle of a new nature and grace; not the application of an external rule to a nature which was not, and could not be subject to it. (Romans 6 by J.N. Darby)
This shows that there is a captivating power both in practising sin and in practising righteousness. In yielding to either one, we come under its power—for bad or for good. (The Believer's Identification With the Death of Christ: Romans 6-7:1-6 by B. Anstey)
A solemn thing to consider here is that even though we are positionally in a new place before God—where grace reigns through righteousness—sin can still be our master practically, if we choose to live in that old Adam state. (The Believer's Identification With the Death of Christ: Romans 6-7:1-6 by B. Anstey)
