For whom he foreknew, he also predetermined [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he should be first-born among many brethren.
But whom he predetermined, them also he called, and whom he called, them also he justified, and whom he justified, them also he glorified.
What then shall we say to these things? If God [be] for us, who against us?
He at least that spared not his own Son but gave him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely grant us all things?
Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? [It is] God that justifieth:
who is he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather risen too, who is also at [the] right hand of God, who also pleadeth for us:
who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
according as it is written, “For thy sake are we being put to death all the day long, we have been reckoned as sheep of slaughter.”
But in all these things we more than overcome by him that loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God that [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.
