35{i}Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold broken in pieces together, and they became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, and no place was found for them. And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.{/i}
44And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
45{i}Forasmuch as thou sawest that a stone was{/i} cut out of the mountain without hands, and it break in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold, —{i}the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter. 3Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
4Then the glory of Jehovah went up from the cherub over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Jehovah's glory.
5And the sound of the cherubim's wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.
6And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.
7And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim unto the fire that was between the cherubim, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.

 That the Ancient of Days is the Eternal God is undoubted, and it is as evident both from verse 22 and from Revelation 1 that the Son of Man is the Ancient of Days, the Eternal God. (Daniel 7 by E. Dennett)
 The thrones—not the throne at the end of verse 9, which is that of the Ancient of Days, but the thrones at the beginning of the verse—are those found in Revelation 20....These are the thrones occupied by the saints, the armies in heaven that will follow Christ when He comes forth for the judgment of our chapter (Rev. 19:11-21). (Daniel 7 by E. Dennett)
