Dug out of the earth. Job 28:1, 2, 6¹Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it. ²Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone. (Job 28:1‑2)
⁶The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold. (Job 28:6).

MENTIONED IN SCRIPTURE;

Gold. Gen. 2:11, 12¹¹The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; ¹²And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. (Genesis 2:11‑12).

Silver. Gen. 44:2²And put my cup, the silver cup, in the sack's mouth of the youngest, and his corn money. And he did according to the word that Joseph had spoken. (Genesis 44:2).

Brass. Ex. 27:2, 4²And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass. (Exodus 27:2)
⁴And thou shalt make for it a grate of network of brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brazen rings in the four corners thereof. (Exodus 27:4). 2 Chr. 12:10¹⁰Instead of which king Rehoboam made shields of brass, and committed them to the hands of the chief of the guard, that kept the entrance of the king's house. (2 Chronicles 12:10)

Copper. Ezra 8:27²⁷Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold. (Ezra 8:27). 2 Tim, 4:14.

Iron. Num. 35:16¹⁶And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. (Numbers 35:16). Prov. 27:17¹⁷Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. (Proverbs 27:17).

Lead. Ex. 15:10¹⁰Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters. (Exodus 15:10). Jer. 6:29²⁹The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away. (Jeremiah 6:29).

Tin. Num. 31:22²²Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead, (Numbers 31:22).

Comparative value of. Isa. 60:17¹⁷For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness. (Isaiah 60:17), Dan. 2:32³²This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, (Daniel 2:32), &c.

Often mixed with dross. Isa. 1:25²⁵And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin: (Isaiah 1:25).

The holy land abounded in. Ben. 8:9.

Antiquity of the art of working in, Gen. 4:22²²And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah. (Genesis 4:22).

Freed from dross by fire. Ezek. 2:18, 20.

Ceremonially cleansed by fire. Num, 31:21-23.

Cast in mold. Judg. 17:4⁴Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah. (Judges 17:4). Ter. 6:29.

Clay of Jordan used for molding. 1 Kin. 7:46.

An extensive commerce in. Ezek. 27:12¹²Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs. (Ezekiel 27:12).
