About This Product
It is a commendable thing to have an exercise to search out the truth concerning the ground on which Christians are to gather for worship and ministry, so that we might arrive at a Scriptural conclusion on which to base our beliefs. The Bible says that the Bereans were “noble” because they “received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11). What is interesting to note about these earnest Christians is that they “received” what Paul and Silas taught before they searched it out in the Scriptures and found it to be so, because they believed that those men were messengers sent from God.
Scripture says, “Buy the truth and sell it not” (Prov. 23:23). There is no better time to do this than when we are young. We would, therefore, encourage out younger brethern to “fully follow up” on these subjects having to do with the truth of gathering in God’s Word. Then we will each be “a good minister of Christ Jesus,” able to accurately set forth the truth in an orderly way (1 Tim. 4:6—J.N. Darby Translation).
