⁷And the cow and the she-bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
⁸And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the adder, and the weaned child shall put forth his hand to the viper's den.
⁹They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.
¹⁰And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse standing as an ensign or banner of the peoples; it shall the nations seek: and his resting place shall be glory. (Isa. 11:1‑10)

²⁵Thus saith Jehovah, If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
²⁶then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them. (Jer. 33:14‑16,20‑26)
