this.
His grace, which goes far beyond law, instructs us, that we should live soberly as regards ourselves, righteously as regards others, and godlily in our highest relationship; for this present age is an evil one. (On Titus 2:9-12 by W. Kelly)
Having brought this salvation, it instructs us perfectly with regard to our walk in this world; and that in relation to ourselves, and to other men, and to God. (Titus 2 by J.N. Darby)

teachingi us that, having denied impiety and worldly lusts, we should live soberlyk, and justly, and piously in the present course of thingsl,

JND Translation Notes

i
This word has certainly the sense of discipline, and always perhaps carries with it something of the thought of setting right; but it is used unquestionably for instructing, as in Acts 7.22, and elsewhere.
k
That is, with self-restraint and consideration, or sound mind; as "discreet," ch. 1.8.
l
Aion. see Matt. 13.22, but "age" hardly gives the sense. "World" gives the false idea of this world as one, and heaven another. It was, for the Jews, the present state of things in contrast with that to be introduced by Messiah.

W. Kelly Translation
