JND Translation Notes

b
"Believe in," etc. A rare form of expression. It refers to believing, in the truth of the substance of a thing. see 2 Tim. 1.12.

W. Kelly Translation

+
15
and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of Goda has drawn nigh. Repent and believe in the glad tidings.

WK Translation Notes

+
a
The kingdom of God was there when Christ the King was there; the kingdom of heaven began with Christ going to heaven. The kingdom of God has also a moral force which kingdom of heaven has not, and in this way is frequently used by Paul, and was peculiarly suitable to the Spirit’s design in Luke.
