There are two articles in the Greek "and to," expressive of two distinct classes of men with whom the day of the Lord is to deal: those that know not God (the nations or heathen); and those that, if they know Him after a sort, obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus (unbelieving Jews). I have no hesitation in saying that such is the sense of the Greek.
