the Lord's.
 The Holy Spirit had revealed to Simeon that he should not die until he had seen the Lord’s Christ. That was the consolation, and it was great. It was contained in the Person of Jesus the Savior, without going further into the details of the manner or the time of the accomplishment of Israel’s deliverance. (Luke 2 by J.N. Darby)
