In many measures and in many manners of old God having spoken to the fathers in the prophets

at [the] end of these days spoke to us in a Son, whom he constituted heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3
who being effulgence of his glory and expression of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, having made [by himself] purification of our sins sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,
4
having become by so much better than the angels as he hath by inheritance a name more excellent than they.

For to which of the angels did he ever say, My Son art thou: I this day have begotten thee? and again, I will be to him for father, and he shall be to me for Son?

But again, when he bringeth in the firstborn into the inhabited earth, he saith, And let all God’s angels worship him.
7
And indeed as to the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels winds and his ministers a flame of fire;
8
but as to the Son, Thy throne, O God, [is] forever and ever; a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9
Thou lovedst righteousness and hatedst lawlessness: for this reason, God, thy God, anointed thee with oil of gladness above thy companions.
10
And, Thou in the beginning, Lord, foundedst the earth, and the heavens are works of thy hands.
11
They shall perish, but thou continuest; and they all shall grow old as a garment,
12
and as a covering thou shalt roll them up, and they shall be changed; but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13
But as to which of the angels hath he ever said, Sit at my right hand until I set thine enemies a footstool of thy feet?
14
Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth for service on account of those who are about to inherit salvation?
