"And to Jesus, mediator of a new covenant." This is the pledge of the enduring mercy which awaits the two houses of Israel. (Hebrews 12:22-24 by W. Kelly)
When He will put His law in their inward parts and write it in their hearts, and be their God and they His people, with other blessed and abiding consequences, it will also be as "fresh" as when the blood was shed by which the True mediator founded it in His death before God. (Hebrews 12:22-24 by W. Kelly)
What would the world to come be without Jesus? He is the center of that vast scene of blessing, the Object who will fill and satisfy the heart of every saint, and administer His kingdom for the glory of God. (God's Means to Keep Us in the Path of Faith: Hebrews 12 by H. Smith)
Abel’s blood was sprinkled on the earth, and cried aloud to God for vengeance on the one who shed it. The blood of Christ has been sprinkled on the mercy seat under the eye of God and, instead of crying for vengeance, it cries for pardon for those who shed it. (God's Means to Keep Us in the Path of Faith: Hebrews 12 by H. Smith)

J. N. Darby Translation

24
and to Jesus, mediator of a newc covenant; and to the blood of sprinkling, speaking better than Abel.

JND Translation Notes

c
Neos; not the usual word for new covenant, which is kainos. Neos is "new" in the sense of fresh, youthful. Kainos is new as wholly different. "The new (kainos) man," Eph. 4.24, i.e. it is not the old; neos, Col. 3.10, it is not grown old.

W. Kelly Translation

24
and to Jesus mediator of a new covenanta, and to blood of sprinkling speaking better than Abelb.

WK Translation Notes

a
It is absurd to connect a Mediator with a testament. With a covenant it is all right.
b
And why "than that of Abel"? According to 11:4 it is Abel, as it were, speaking in his blood or death; "para to" in some MSS. seems a mere gloss for facility.
