23The soldiers therefore, when they crucified Jesus, took his garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and the vest; but the vest was seamless from the top woven through the whole.

13and led [him away] unto Annas first; for he was father-in-law of Caiaphas who was high priest of that year.
14But it was Caiaphas who counselled the Jews that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
19The high priest then asked Jesus about his disciples and about his doctrine.
20Jesus answered, I have openly spoken in the world, I always taught in [the] synagogue and in the temple, where all the Jews assemble, and in secret I spoke nothing:
21why askest thou me? Ask those that have heard, what I spoke to them: behold, these know what I said.
22But when he said these things, one of the officials as he stood by gave Jesus a slap on the face, saying, Thus answerest thou the high priest?
23Jesus answered him, If I spoke ill, testify of the ill; but if well, why smitest thou me?
24Annas [therefore] sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

36Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight that I might not be delivered up to the Jews; but now my kingdom is not from hence.
37Pilate then said to him, Art thou then a king? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. I have been born for this, and for this I have come into the world, that I might bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
38Pilate saith to him, What is truth? And having said this, he again went out unto the Jews, and saith to them, I find no fault in him;
39but ye have a custom that I should release one to you at the Passover: will ye therefore that I release to you the king of the Jews?
40T h ey all cried then again, saying, Not this [man] but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
